Their new catamarans, The Moorings 3800 and 4500 are built expressly for the charter company by Robertson & Caine in Cape Town, South Africa. Voted "Boat of the Year" by The Sailing Company, their large cruisers feature twin Westerbeke 44A Four diesel engines, a 7.6 kW Westerbeke diesel generator, and Rotary Aire Climate Control Systems. The Fountaine Pajot PowerCats, built in France, also use the same Westerbeke generators and air conditioners.

Westerbeke supplies some of the leading Fire-Rescue emergency vehicle manufacturers in the United States, such as Pierce Manufacturing and E-One with industrial diesel generators. Already well known for their reliability at sea, Westerbeke diesel generators were destined for industrial use and in many cases were selected to the reliability of their marine counterparts in adverse marine conditions, not to mention their compact envelope.
