Westerbeke currently supplies 130 boat builders with marine generators, engines, and air conditioning systems. Included are some of the world's largest production builders, such as Chris-Craft, Catalina Yachts, and Oyster. Other major OEM customers include Cabo Yachts, Jefferson Yachts, Regal Marine, Robertson & Caine, and Valiant Yachts.
Rental Fleets
Westerbeke is also the preferred brand among houseboat rental fleets. Many fleets use boats manufactured by well known builders such as Sumerset, Stardust Cruisers, Sharpe Houseboats, and Lakeview. Rental fleets are good judges of reliability - downtime for repairs and service is extremely costly, so when a brand is specified, it is usually for its trouble-free reputation.

Already well known for their reliability at sea, Westerbeke fire-rescue diesel generators are designed for the unforgiving industrial environment. And in many cases are selected because of the reliability of their marine counterparts in adverse marine conditions - not to mention their compact envelope.
